A new Sonic fast-food restaurant could soon be coming to Long Island.
The Smithtown Town Board has approved a site plan to build a Sonic in Nesconset.
It would be located on the corner of Middle Country Road and Alexander Avenue.
The only other Sonic on Long Island is on Deer Park Avenue in North Babylon.
