The IRS says it's sending more money to people who were shorted on their original payments.
The so-called "plus-up" payments are going to people whose 2020 tax returns show they're owed more money.
Some people who can expect more cash include people who earned less in 2020 than in prior years, low-income Social Security recipients and people who did not file in 2019 or 2020.
