A lack of snow this season is causing a lot of lost income for those whose businesses rely on it.
Greg Picca, of GP Snow and Ice Management, says about 20% of their annual revenue is from removing snow.
But with no snow to remove so far this winter, Picca's employees are taking a big hit.
"We have a lot of subcontractors that help us with running the equipment that are laid off for the winter due to various jobs that they have that are essentially sitting home right now waiting for snow," Picca says.
He says even when his snowplows are not being used, they all require service, costing the company even more money.
Picca says since there has been no snow to remove, they spend a lot of time getting their equipment ready for the spring
