Crews at LaGuardia Airport cleared the tarmac Saturday after 650 New York area flights were canceled due to Friday?s snowstorm, leaving many travelers stranded over night.
Although the weather was calm in the Tri-State area Saturday, snow continued falling to the west.
The weekend before Christmas has historically been one of the busiest times of the year for travel.
