The matriarch of a well-known Long Beach surfing family is helping those in need during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Beth Skudin, of Skudin Surf, and her family ride the waves. They teach surfing and operate a summer camp for young people with autism and other challenges.

Skudin Surf has teamed up the Long Beach Public Schools to hand out and deliver food and other supplies to families in need.
