A man is dead after a single-car crash in Shirley, according to authorities.
Police say Iran Palmer was driving south on the William Floyd Parkway, just north of Robinwood Drive Sunday night, when he lost control of the car.
Palmer hit a metal guardrail and overturned multiple times.
The 38-year-old Farmingville man was pronounced dead at the scene.
