NEXT: Improvements coming by Friday with drier weather. This weekend looks great with sunshine and warmer temperatures. Highs will be in the mid-60s, which is more typical for this time of year.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny with isolated showers during the afternoon. Highs near 56. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy with the chance for a few showers. Lows near 44. Southwest to north winds 5 to 10 mph.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers likely, especially in Suffolk County. Highs near 56. Lows near 44.
FRIDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy with highs near 58. Lows near 46.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and warmer. Highs near 66 Lows near 44.
