A 15-year-old from Shoreham is now a singing sensation in the national spotlight.

Tonight, Carter Rubin will compete in the battle rounds on "The Voice."

We were first introduced to Carter when he serenaded us, and all of you, with holiday hits as a winner of News 12 Long Island's 2018 Sounds of the Season competition.

The nation heard Carter sing on his blind audition where he wow-ed the judges.
