The Shoreham-Wading River Wildcats have won a Long Island title in honor of their teammate.
Tom Cutinella died after an on-field collision in October. Now two months later, Tom's teammates entered the Class 4 finale with his number 54 leading the way.
Members of Tom's family were in the stands to watch the game play out.

Their rival Roosevelt High School signed their number 54 and gave it to the Wildcats.
The Wildcats ran away with a 47-to-13 win.
This is their first Long Island title.
