Prosecutors say a dozen members of a violent gang that terrorized the Bronx for seven years have been arrested. Members of the Clay Avenue Bloods gang are responsible for murder, drug dealing, racketeering and robberies, according to federal prosecutors. The gang was taken down after a year and a half joint investigating between federal authorities and the NYPD. Prosecutors could seek the death penalty for five of the Bronx defendants, while the others could face up to life in prison if convicted.
