One of the best baseball players in the Big East is coming to New York for a conference tournament.
Sal Annunziata was first featured on News 12 at age 10, when he played at a Bronx baseball camp. Annunziata went on to star at Fordham Prep and is now a junior at Seton Hall.
Annunziata leads the Big East conference in RBIs and slugging percentage. The last time Seton Hall won the Big East however was in 2011, when Annunziata was a senior at Fordham Prep.
"I thought we could've done it with every team we've had since I've been here, and we're going to try to do it now this year," said Annunziata.
Seton Hall will play Saint John's Thursday night in Brooklyn.
