High school students in Shirley learned about the dangers of distracted driving today.
Jacy Good, a victim of distracted driving, visited seniors at William Floyd High School to talk about a program she created called "Hang Up And Drive."
Good suffered a traumatic brain injury, along with several physical problems, after a horrible car crash that killed her mother and father.
The teen who slammed into the family was using his cellphone at the time of the accident.
Good says she has visited about 300 schools in New York to discuss ways to prevent distracted driving.
