The Stony Brook men's basketball team headed to Iowa Tuesday to compete in their first-ever NCAA tournament.
The university threw the Seawolves a send-off rally as the team prepares to face 4th seed University of Kentucky's Wildcats.
Stony Brook University got into the NCAA Tournament Saturday after beating University of Vermont.
"This team did something that no team in Stony Brook history did. It's hard to make history," said coach Steve Pikiell.
The first tip-off is at 9:40 p.m. Thursday.
