The Sag Harbor Partnership says it has raised enough money to save the iconic Sag Harbor Cinema that was destroyed last year in a raging fire.
The group says it reached its goal of raising $8 million to buy the property and rebuild it.
On Wednesday, the group received a $1.4 million state grant as well as a major donation.
The fire occurred on Dec. 16, 2016.
