Saddle Rock Ranch has expanded its horseback riding program for people with disabilities to include veterans.

The program will help veterans who are disabled or are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Timothy Strobel, a wounded veteran who was deployed in Iraq, says the program will help him get outside more.

"I can't run anymore, and a lot of veterans can't move like they used to," Strobel said. "To get out there and move quickly is quite wonderful."

Program Director Anthony Galatro says the program has been in the works for a few years.
