It has been 166 days since Plainview’s Omer Neutra was taken hostage by Hamas militants in Israel on Oct. 7 of last year.

Ever since, the 22-year-old IDF tank commander’s parents, Ronen and Orna, have done everything they can to secure his release.

From multiple trips to Washington to a visit with Gov. Kathy Hochul in Albany this week, the Neutra’s are doing all that they can to keep hope alive.

This week, Ronen and Orna are speaking with News 12’s Rich Barrabi about how they keep pushing forward to bring their son home.

Watch the extended interview this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. on the Power & Politics show.
