Rockville Centre girl becomes state's free-throw champ
Lily Wassenbergh, a student at Saint Agnes Cathedral School, won the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship held at West Point over the weekend.

Lily Wassenbergh was victorious in her age division at the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship held at West Point on Sunday.
The Saint Agnes Cathedral School student said she prepared by taking 100 shots each day without ever missing a day.
Wassenbergh is the first from her school to go to the championship in 25 years.
She said she felt “really special to be the first one in awhile.”
