Riverhead superintendent: Student drew swastika on blackboard in middle school

The district says the student is being disciplined and the Riverhead Police Department is investigating.

School officials say more symbols of hate were found in schools.
The Riverhead schools superintendent sent another letter to families on Monday and said a student drew a swastika on a blackboard at the middle school.
The district says the student is being disciplined, and the Riverhead Police Department is investigating.
Earlier this month the superintendent reported a swastika on a piece of art at the middle school.
There was another incident within the district in September.
