Police are searching for a driver who crashed her way through a Lindenhurst neighborhood and fled the scene early Friday morning.

Ring video shows a car crashing through the front yard of a house on Bristol Street. Police say it happened just after 2 a.m.

Video from a nearby business shows the car leaving a parking lot and crashing into a parked car. Neighbors say the driver then lost control and plowed into a front yard, knocking down a sign and sending garbage flying, before getting stuck in the snow.

“She then came out the driveway and came like towards the front of my step and was going to hit my neighbor’s car until she floored it and went down the block.…” said Ro Marie of Lindenhurst. “You're lucky that nobody got killed, you know. Because I mean, the way she totaled that poor man's car and then went flying on this front lawn here, she could have really hurt somebody.”

Another neighbor says parts of the car were littered across the yard, and the driver had to move back and forth multiple times to get her car out of the snow.

Police say no arrests have been made.
