Riders' Alliance: Lawsuits over MTA's congestion pricing plan stalling subway upgrades
The organization says it's blocking reliable service for riders, specifically along the A and C lines in East New York, Bed-Stuy, Harlem and Washington Heights.

The Riders' Alliance is speaking out about how several lawsuits filed over the MTA's proposed congestion pricing plan are holding up much-needed upgrades to the subways.
The organization says it's blocking reliable service for riders, specifically along the A and C lines in East New York, Bed-Stuy, Harlem and Washington Heights.
In a statement, the Riders' Alliance said:
"What nerve of these arrogant plaintiffs to assert their own bogus claims about air quality in the face of several decades' worth of expertise from congestion pricing advocates.. It's unreal."
The MTA says its congestion pricing plan is part of a greater effort to reduce traffic in some of the city's busiest areas.
