Restaurant owners on the East End are hoping the crowds return again this summer.
So many places are already getting ready for the upcoming season.
News 12 spoke with Zach Erdem, the owner of Southampton's 75 Main and Blu Mar.
Erdem recommends planning ahead and making reservations as early in advance as possible, even if it is weeks or months ahead of time.
“Now you walk into the restaurant, everyone wants to come now and the pandemic is over, people are like celebrating; people are going to be all over sitting at the bar; people sitting next to you without masks," says Erdem.
Erdem adds that although apps like Resy and Open Table are helpful for reserving tables. However, some restaurants, like his, opt out of those apps on their busiest days so it's best to call ahead.
