At least 10 fire departments responded to a raging house fire in East Hills Wednesday afternoon.
The fire at the home on Flamingo Road North started shortly before 2 p.m. News 12 was told it started in the basement.
Fire officials say the blaze proved to be tough due to the hot weather.
On site were two air-conditioned rehab tents to help firefighters take a break and cool off. Inside the tents, firefighters had their blood pressure checked and got plenty of water to make sure they weren't overheated.
There was a scare at one point during the fire when some of the firefighters were unaccounted for and were believed to be trapped inside the burning house. Fire officials say that wasn't the case.
There are were no reports of any injuries. The fire marshal was at the scene in an effort to determine what sparked the blaze.
