Residents took to the streets Thursday to protest violence following two shootings last week in the Pelham Parkway area.
High school students also attended the march despite having New York State Regenst Exams this week, demonstrating their motivation to keep the neighborhood safe.
Attendees say they are fed up with the recent shootings and stabbings, and want to send a clear message that violence is never the answer.
