Residents on Webster Avenue say water and sewage backup are holding them hostage when it rains.
Residents along Webster Avenue between 169th and 170th streets say the road is completely flooded when it rains. They say a sewage blockage is not allowing water to drain properly in the area. One resident says the water sometimes seeps under the front door of her apartment building.
Bronx residents say they have reached out to 311 several times about the flooded roadway to no avail. Some even say it gets so bad, garbage floats up and down the road.
