Saturday is National Drug Take Back Day where residents can drop off their unused medications, no questions asked.
The goal is to prevent drugs from getting into the wrong hands.
"No questions asked," says Janice Talento of Drug Free Long Island. "They come, they give us their meds, we give them a little pamphlet about safety in their cabinets, safety about disposal and alternatives. So if they can't make one of these, they have some place they can drop them off."
The drugs will be taken to an incinerator Monday to be destroyed.
