Rescuers locate the body of second victim in Old Brookville wall collapse

A 45-year-old man was killed, and a 57-year-old man is presumed dead after walls of dirt caved in on them while they were installing a septic tank in Brookville.

The body of a second worker from a construction accident in Old Brookville has been found.
A wall caved in on two men while they were installing a septic tank in Brookville Tuesday.
Rescuers were able to pull a 45-year-old man out of the rubble Tuesday, but was pounced dead. The body of a 57-year-old man was discovered Wednesday.
Investigators say the men were at the bottom of a 30-foot deep hole installing a septic ring when the walls began to cave in and they were buried by 5 to 7 feet of dirt.
According to police, eight departments responded to the scene of a private residence on Wolver Hollow Road around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Police have not released the identities of the victims. Police say they will be looking into the safety measures that were taken on the job.
