Reproductive rights rallies voice support for Roe v. Wade in Fairfield County

Connecticut officials joined activists from all different towns of Fairfield County Sunday for an abortion rights rally in Stamford.
Lt. Gov.  Susan Bysiewicz was joined by Mayor Caroline Simmons and groups from around the state for "Bans off Our Body Stamford" rally.
There was also a "Voices for Choice" rally being held in Wilton.
This rally follows hundreds of marches and rallies across the country. Seattle, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and New York City were some of the places that took part this weekend.
Activists spoke about the need to mobilize quickly after the leak of a Supreme Court draft in early May indicating justices are poised to overturn the landmark Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion.
The final decision on Roe V. Wade by the US Supreme court is anticipated by late June or July.
