There are new reports that Rep. George Santos claimed to have spread campaign cash to fellow Republicans, but that money never showed up.

According to Politico, campaign filings show one of Santos' first acts as a candidate back in 2019 was making a bunch of large, 4-figure donations from his campaign to local Republican groups - along with Donald Trump's re-election committee.

However, according to filings from those groups, the money was never received.

As News 12 has reported, the congressman is facing several FEC complaints along with investigations from local and national prosecutors.

Santos has acknowledged mistakes with his money trail - and pointed to clerical errors or system errors.
