AAA says drivers can expect to pay the highest Memorial Day weekend gas prices since 2014.
The national average jumped 12 cents within 14 days to $2.93 a gallon.
The gas price average on Long Island has increased by a penny Tuesday to $3.11.
Experts say drivers can expect prices to spike another five to ten cents this week.
