A former Long Island Ducks player and his girlfriend have sued Suffolk County and its police department, according to Newsday.
Jonathan Griffin says he and his girlfriend called for help after being confronted by a group of drunk teens last July.
The couple claims they were assaulted by officers for no reason.
Both were arrested on resisting and obstruction charges, but those charges have since been dropped.
The couple is suing for $14 million.
