Rep. George Santos was interviewed by fellow Rep. Matt Gaetz on Thursday.
During the interview, Santos claimed he has lived an honest life and worked hard.
That stands in contrast to Santos' admission to lying about his work credentials and his family's history.
The New York congressman also claimed that he was being targeted by the New York Times, which originally did the investigative article about him.
Santos says his office has been helping constituents set up White House tours and with their passports.
One of Santos' constituents from Oyster Bay told News 12 she has been trying to get in touch with Santos' office but cannot get anyone on the phone.
"Very frustrating, very angry, feeling that if he's supposed to represent me, how am I supposed to get in touch with this man?," Linda Robbins said. "How can he represent me? He should be ashamed of himself."
The congressman's district office in Queens still does not have a listed phone number and does not appear to be open to the public.
There are no confirmed details about plans to open a district office in Nassau County.
News 12 reached out to Santos' staff for comment but has not heard back.
