Rep. George Santos’ sister reaches agreement in Queens eviction case

An agreement has been reached in the eviction case involving Rep. George Santos’ sister.
Tiffany Santos owed over $39,000 in unpaid rent to her landlords at her Queens apartment. But now, she will only have to pay half over the course of over a year — from March 2023 through October 2024.
Santos was seen moving into the Queens apartment at the end of December, when Santos claimed to have $1.5 million in the bank. The location was also listed as a mailing address on a form filed with the Federal Election Commission.
According to court documents, Tiffany Santos owed nearly $40,000 despite receiving $30,000 in emergency COVID-19 rental assistance.
