Remembering Joanna Cole, author of 'The Magic School Bus'
The author, who was a New Jersey native, said that her beloved character Ms. Frizzle was based on her own fifth grade teacher. Now there's a live-action version in the works starring Elizabeth Banks as Ms. Frizzle.
