The missing woman whose case led to the discovery of 10 Gilgo Beach victims will be buried on Long Island.
Shannan Gilbert vanished nearly five years ago and her body was found in Oak Beach in December of 2011.
Gilbert's disappearance sparked a search that uncovered 10 victims of the Gilgo Beach killer.
After an independent autopsy, Gilbert will be buried on Thursday at Amityville Cemetery, according to Newsday.
The autopsy results have not been revealed.
Police insist they do not believe Gilbert is connected to the serial killings.
