Regal Cinemas could be temporarily closing some theaters across the United States this week.
The move comes as the company reported a loss of more than $1.5 billion in the first half of 2020.
In July, the second largest movie chain in the U.S. began reopening theaters.
The possible shutdown comes a day after the latest James Bond film was delayed until Spring 2021.
A spokesperson says a final decision on the closure, has not yet been reached.
