Rainy weather remains overnight into Thursday, sun briefly returns Friday
Thursday continues to see more clouds and showery moments, chiefly at the coast.
The weather will remain showery and misty along the coast tonight. Winds will be gusty, especially at the beaches. This will make it feel cool and clammy.
The bulk of the rain is staying offshore and heading towards Long Island. Less wetter weather is wedged over the region so we'll likely be spared the worst of the accumulating rains.
Tomorrow continues to see more clouds and showery moments, chiefly at the coast. Not the type of weather that will cause flooding or disruptions - just a big ole nuisance.
Friday is the best day of the week. Sun and clouds and hopefully, if only briefly, we'll warm up to the low and mid-70s.
The weekend…yeah, the weekend. We are looking at the 11th weekend of the last 12 that has featured measurable wet weather. This looks to be the sixth one in a row! Weekends this spring have been anything but spectacular. Let's hope this pattern changes before summer.
