Long Islanders found themselves dealing with the aftermath of Sunday's storm Monday morning.Monday's rain, fog and wind created messy roadways on the Island, forcing drivers to drive slowly and allow extra time for their traveling.Forecasters predicted up to three inches of snowfall for the area, but Long Island saw only about an inch. The snow caused numerous accidents across the Island and caused many cars to stall.In the Town of Oyster Bay, officials admitted that the snow caught them off guard. Officials said they didn't expect the snow until Sunday night, but had no problem keeping the roads cleared once they got started.The storm also forced hundreds of passengers at LaGuardia and Kennedy airports to wait up to two hours for their flights.
