A Long Islander is one of six people now charged in connection with a multimillion-dollar Medicaid prescription scam.

Officials say Raheel Perves, 39, of Dix Hills, and five others stole $16 million from the government.

Investigators say the group paid HIV patients not to fill their prescriptions and then still billed Medicaid for the drugs.

The scam was allegedly run out of two pharmacies in New Hyde Park and the Bronx.
