Officials say a raging fire destroyed a bar and damaged two other businesses on Main Street in Smithtown this morning.

The fire broke out at the Artful Dodger around 2:30 a.m. The bar had just changed from the popular Molly Blooms that used to be there. Officials say the fire started on the roof, and firefighters had to gain entry by using the businesses on both sides.

The two adjoining stores, Jackee?s hair salon and Cornet Music Shop, suffered damage.

Officials say no injuries were reported during the time of the incident.

Investigators are trying to figure out the cause of the fire, but believe it is not suspicious.
