The production of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular is welcoming some unique new cast members.
A camel, a donkey, and sheep will be joining the dancers on stage for the finale of the show in the living nativity scene.
Cardinal Dolan blessed the animals as they arrived for their first day of rehearsal.
This year's production features a new lyrical number named “Dance of the Frost Fairies,” where the Rockettes will turn into winged fairies and perform alongside drones above the audience.
"It’s so much hard work, but so much reward at the end. To bring smiles to so many faces, the young kids and the families. It really becomes a family tradition and we're so lucky to be a part of it,” said one Rockette.
The Christmas Spectacular will open its first show of the season on Nov. 18. Tickets are on sale now.
