Push to ban handgun-shaped smartphone cases

A local lawmaker is pushing to ban handgun-shaped smartphone cases. State Sen. Jack Martins (R-Mineola) says he will introduce legislation to make the cases illegal. As News 12 reported earlier

A local lawmaker is pushing to ban handgun-shaped smartphone cases.
State Sen. Jack Martins (R-Mineola) says he will introduce legislation to make the cases illegal.
As News 12 reported earlier this week, police are also in favor of a ban.
Police say the phone covers look too real and could be mistaken for a real weapon.
