A teen accused of bringing a loaded gun into the Smith Haven Mall on Black Friday is facing felony weapons charges, according to prosecutors.

The Suffolk District Attorney says the weapon fell out of 18-year-old Tavion Elting’s pocket during a fight.

A bystander allegedly kicked it away from him before police arrived and recovered it at the scene.

Prosecutors say Elting faces 15 years in prison if convicted.
