Police say the head of a Long Island-based charity is accused of using $152,000 in donations for herself.
Tina Ruggerio, of Florida, is a member of the Ruggiero Strong Family Foundation.
Prosecutors say she was entrusted to hold money for another charity that wanted to promote youth sports.
Instead, officials say Ruggerio spent the cash on cars, dinners, nail salons and more.
Ruggiero faces up to 15 years in prison, if convicted.
