3h agoA student was allegedly approached by a van full of men in ski masks in Selden on Thursday.
According to the principal of Selden Middle School, it happened on Hawkins Road and Hillsdale Lane.
The principal said that the student was walking home from a bus stop when a white van pulled up. He said the back door of the van slid open and a group of men in ski masks attempted to get the student to look at them.
The student ran away and called the police.
The school issued a statement for all students to tell an adult of any activity which appears to be suspicious.
