14ds agoA seventh grade girl was approached by a middle-aged man with facial hair on her way to Lindenhurst Middle School and asked if she needed a ride, according to the school's principal.
The student called her friend and continued to walk, according to Principal Frank Naccarato.
The man was driving a white, four-door car, and there were full large black trash bags in the back seat of the car, according to the student.
The incident occurred on South Wellwood Avenue across from CVS Monday morning around 7 a.m.
