Flooding is a concern in some coastal areas as a powerful winter storm moves in and brings heavy snow and high winds across Long Island.
Snowfall totals of up to two feet are possible with the heaviest snow expected on the south shore.
News 12 Long Island's Danielle Campbell is in Freeport and says the area is particularly susceptible to flooding at high tide, which will occur around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Coastal Flooding is expected with tides three to four feet above normal.
