President Donald Trump’s new tariffs on all U.S. trading partners are now in effect and they will impact prices on just about everything you buy. The president says the tariffs are needed in order to level the economic playing field and bring in more jobs, but global markets saw one of the worst days on record.

Also, Oyster Bay officials announced a new online permit system, giving homeowners, business owners and contractors the ability to apply for a variety of building permits without having to go to town hall. You can now apply for over 20 permits online.
