The Nassau County District Attorney's race figures to be one of the most competitive races on Long Island this election season.
Republican incumbent Anne Donnelly is running for reelection. Four years ago, she defeated state Sen. Todd Kaminsky in the race for district attorney, the first Republican to win a race for Nassau DA in 20 years.
This time around, Donnelly is facing a challenge from another career prosecutor, Nicole Aloise. The Democrat from Garden City has made it a point of speaking out against the same bail reform policies that doomed Kaminsky's campaign.
She joined Rich Barrabi on this week’s Power & Politics.
