Viewers continue to send News 12 pictures of Long Island’s worst potholes, which are then being passed along to get them filled.
Many have pointed to areas of the Sunrise Highway. Specifically, the on and off ramps. #Thunderbolt12 found some troubling sports eastbound near Hospital Road.
"Every day when I am driving, I am hoping and praying I don't blow a tire because I have had that happen to me once before and it was a scary situation,” said Jenifer DaCunha.
The state Department of Transportation released a document to News 12 with the schedule of state roads that are scheduled to be resurfaced. On the list are three of the roads recently visited by News 12 – New York Avenue in Huntington, Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station and portions of Sunrise Highway.
