Police: 3 officers, gunman, gunman's father wounded in Jamesport shootout

According to police, officers were called to a home on Manor Lane for a domestic incident between father and son on Tuesday night.

Police say three officers, a gunman and the gunman's father were injured during a police-involved shooting in Jamesport, officials say.

According to police, officers were called to a home on Manor Lane for a domestic incident between father and son on Tuesday night.

While officers were speaking with the father, William J. Klatt, in the driveway of the home, the son, William G. Klatt, removed the screen from a window and fired shots from a shotgun at the group.

As the officers and the father took cover, the son exited the home with the shotgun and exchanged gunshots with police. The son was struck once.

William G. Klatt, 32, who lives at the home was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The three officers and William J. Klatt, 60, were treated for minor injuries.

Charges against William G. Klatt are pending.
